Fans, media react to CBS reporter referring to Nick Bosa by the wrong first name

For those who might be unaware, there are actually a pair of Bosa Brothers in the NFL.
In all fairness, it can be somewhat confusing. Both played at Ohio State in college and both play for NFL teams based in California. Joey Bosa plays for the LA Chargers after being selected No. 3 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Nick Bosa plays for the San Francisco 49ers and was selected No. 2 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.
On Sunday, it is Nick’s 49ers who are playing against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Playoffs. Unfortunately for the younger Bosa, his night was ended early due to a head injury. It was also not a great evening for CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.
Coming out of halftime, Wolfson gave the report that “Joey Bosa” was being evaluated by San Francisco’s trainers for a head injury. Wolfson made the same mistake when providing the official update that Bosa was done for the evening.
Fans and fellow media members were quick to notice the misstep:
Tracy Wolfson is going to be blown away when she finds out there are two Bosa’s

Producer can’t tell Tracy Wolfson she’s getting Bosa’s first name wrong? Twice?

The fact that CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson keeps referring to 49er Nick Bosa as 'Joey Bosa' twice now is inexcusable! #SFvsDAL

Hey, @tracywolfson. How about not calling one of the best DEs by his actual name (Nick) instead of his brothers name (Joey). This is twice that you’ve done this, so let’s try to get it right… pic.twitter.com/sEjLi38CmD

Does Tracy Wolfson not know Nick Bosa and Joey Bosa are different people?

Surprised not telling CBS’ Tracy Wolfson in her ear it’s Nick Bosa. Not Joey. Wolfson is terrific. But had the wrong Bosa. As for Nick that was a scary head injury. #Denver7
