Fast-rising LB prospect for 2022 adds Ohio State offer to impressive October haul
By a player’s senior season, their rating is usually set. However, some players turn into late bloomers and can still gain huge attention late in the recruiting cycle.
That appears to be the case for Jimmy Rolder, a 2022 linebacker out of Marist High School in Chicago, Illinois. According to his 247 Sports page, Rolder did not have an FBS offer prior to September.

The senior linebacker is listed at 6-foot-2 and 220 lbs. 247 Sports has rated Rolder as a 3-star prospect but he has gone unrated by the industry-generated composite rankings.
Rolder’s offer sheet now contains Ohio State alongside offers from Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Purdue, and Iowa. If October’s stretch is any indication, these will not be the only schools to get an offer in on Rolder.
