The first half of Friday’s quarterfinal matchup between Ohio State and Purdue in the B1G Tournament belonged to Kyle Young.

Ohio State’s senior forward scored 18 points in the first half and was a perfect 4-of-4 from behind the 3-point line. He finished the half making 7-of-9 attempts from the floor and also grabbed 3 rebounds. The Buckeyes took a 49-31 lead on the Boilermakers into the locker room.

Purdue defeated Ohio State in both games during the regular season. It looks like the Buckeyes are ready to get some revenge. Below are some of the highlights from Young’s monstrous half.

Young came into Friday’s game averaging 8.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. He’s shooting 36% from behind the arc this year, but has gotten into his groove in Indianapolis.

In Thursday’s Round 2 win over Minnesota, Young scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the Buckeyes’ 79-75 victory.
