Gill, who started his college career with the Buckeyes, transferred to Boston College after the 2019 season. He teams up with new BC head coach Jeff Hafley who took the Eagles opening after one season as a defensive assistant with the Buckeyes.

Gill initially came to Ohio State as a four-star prospect and the No. 2 overall All-Purpose Back in the nation for the 2018 recruiting class. He had one catch in 2018 before redshirting. Gill had six catches for 51 yards and a touchdown in 2019.
The talent is certainly there with Gill, but it is also likely that he will see more chances at Boston College as Ohio State has an incredibly deep wide receiver group heading into the season. Hopefully, Gill hits the ground running with his new team.
