The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Henderson erupted for 277 yards and three touchdowns during Ohio State’s victory vs. Tulsa in Week 3. For the sensational performance, Henderson earned a share of B1G Offensive Player of the Week and was the B1G Freshman of the Week.

Perry raves about the explosive nature of Henderson.

“The guy can hit the home run, that’s a big deal. You watch this dude and he’ll make a guy miss close to the line of scrimmage, he’ll run through a tackle on the second level and then it’s off to the races,” Perry said. “He’s got big play ability. For such a young player to understand what it takes to be an elite running back, especially in this conference. I think it’s phenomenal.”

Next up for Ohio State is a matchup against in-state opponent Akron on Sept. 25 (7:30 p.m. EST/BTN).
