Former Ohio State Buckeye and Baltimore Ravens running back JK Dobbins is close to returning to the field, but is not expected to play on Sunday versus the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN NFL analyst Adam Schefter.

Dobbins is one step closer to returning and impacting Baltimore’s offense after tearing his ACL, LCL, hamstring, and meniscus in the 2021 NFL training camp. He hasn’t played in a regular-season game since the 2020 NFL season.

In his rookie season in 2020, Dobbins rushed for 805 yards and 9 touchdowns for 134 carries, as well as catching 18 receptions for 120 yards.

In his 3 seasons at Ohio State, Dobbins rushed for 4,459 yards and 38 touchdowns on 725 carries. Dobbins was a first-team All-B1G and All-American selection in 2019, where he rushed for 2,003 yards and 23 touchdowns on 301 carries.

He was selected by Baltimore in the second round (55th overall pick) in the 2020 NFL Draft.
