A reverse, over-the-backboard shot in the NBA’s HORSE Challenge was enough to net former Ohio State star Mike Conley a victory.
Thursday night, Conley capped off a victory in the challenge by defeating Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls in the finals. Conley also defeated former WNBA star Tamika Catchings and former Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets guard Chauncey Billups.
Below is a video of the game-winning shot, as well as some of the highlights from the event.

The HORSE Challenge was created in the absence of live sports, providing a made-for-television opportunity to bring something into the homes of NBA fans. The NBA was one of the first leagues to shut down all operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Conley is in his first season with the Utah Jazz and 13th year in the league.
