Former Buckeye tased, facing felony assault charge following run-in with police
Kirk Barton had a really bad weekend.
The former Ohio State offensive lineman is reportedly facing a felony assault charge following the incident below, which was captured by Delaware County police. According to NBC4i of Columbus, the police were trying to help Barton get home safely when he slammed a taxi door on one of the police deputy’s arm. That’s when the police tased Barton.

Barton is a former team captian for the Buckeyes and was the first player to start and win four Michigan games for Ohio State. He was also a two-time All-Big Ten selection before going on to a career in the NFL.
