McGrath is listed in the Ohio State staff directory as a program assistant, per Eleven Warriors.
Ohio State is looking to boost its defensive staff after struggling during the 2021 campaign. Day has already made significant changes, bringing in Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles to take over that side of the football.
