Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan has been known to be a very intense player, so much so that he often crossed the line with silly penalties. Lewan went off on himself on that subject in front of the media after the Titans defeated the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

“Before we even start this whole thing, my penalties are a f@#$ing problem,” Lewan said. “I am 100 percent an issue with that. It’s not intention. I do not mean to do it. My intentions are good. I’m just trying to finish, and it’s killing the team.

“I’m completely screwing the team with the amount of penalties I’ve had.”

Check out the full clip where the former Michigan offensive lineman essentially takes himself to the woodshed.

Lewan committed three penalties — a personal foul, holding and false start — for a loss of 24 yards in the victory against the Chiefs on Sunday. He has nine penalties this season, and he’s only played in six games because he was suspended the first four contests of the year due to violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
