Ohio State has a lot of talent this year.
The Buckeyes are ranked No. 3 in the country and just keep winning. Last year, they had talent too — especially in the secondary. One of the guys that left after last season was CB Denzel Ward.
There was a good reason: He was ready for the NFL. Ward was picked No. 4 overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2018 NFL Draft and many mocked the pick.
Why not go with a pass-rusher? Why not go here? Why not go there?
Well, Ward is showing exactly why the Browns selected him where they did. For the second week — out of five in the NFL — he was named the league’s Rookie of the Week:

Ward was also named Rookie of the Week back in Week 1 when he picked off two passes against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, Ward was recognized for his Week 5 play.
In the win over the Baltimore Ravens, Ward not only got his third INT of the season, but he also blocked a field goal and won AFC Special Teams Player of the Week as well.
Yeah, Ward’s talented.
