Former Ohio State DB planning to visit Notre Dame
A former Ohio State defensive back who entered the transfer portal earlier this season is planning to take a visit to another premier program this weekend.
Isaiah Pryor, who entered the transfer portal last month, will take an official visit to Notre Dame this weekend, where he’ll watch the Fighting Irish take on USC. 247Sports first reported the news, saying Pryor will be in South Bend from Friday until Sunday.
Pryor has played in 30 career games for the Buckeyes, making seven starts. He played in three contests this season before deciding to enter his name in the transfer portal. He registered 47 career tackles, seven pass break-ups and one interception in three years. He had three stops this fall.
Expected to graduate in December, Pryor would be immediately eligible to play in 2020 as a graduate transfer. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Pryor is a former four-star prospect and was listed as the No. 63 overall player in the 2017 recruiting class. He was the 10th-best player out of Florida.
