Just a few days ago, Raekwon McMillan was listed as a starter on the Miami Dolphins defense. Now, his rookie season appears to be over.

While covering a punt in the Dolphins’ preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons, McMillan appeared injured after colliding with a teammate. Though he was able to walk off on his own power, it was reported that the former Buckeye tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

The injury occurred in the first minute of the game.

McMillan was selected in the second round of the NFL Draft and signed a four-year deal worth $4.7 million.

In his three-year career at Ohio State, McMillan tallied 270 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and had nine pass break-ups.
