Former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins is back in the starting lineup for the Washington Football Team.

Haskins hasn’t started since being benched following a Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

He was eventually demoted to third string, with Kyle Allen and Alex Smith both earning starts over him during that span. However, Allen and Smith have both sustained injuries so Haskins gets the nod again.

Haskins appeared in Washington’s game last week, completing 7-of-12 passes for 51 yards.

So far this season, Haskins is completing 60.8 percent of his passes. He’s thrown for 990 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions and has a 1-3 record as a starter.

Washington drafted Haskins No. 15 overall in the 2019 NFL draft. However, the organization has recently undergone changes in the front office and with the coaching staff, so his future is uncertain.

Performing well over the last couple weeks of the season could go a long way toward determining whether or not Washington picks a replacement QB in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Washington is 6-7 this season and currently in first place in the NFC East, so there’s a lot on the line going into this game against the Seahawks.
