Former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn was killed in a vehicle accident in Texas on Monday morning, according to reports. He was 43.

Friends and former teammates of Glenn asked for prayers and support for the family.

Glenn had a tremendous career while at Ohio State from 1993-1995, catching 79 passes for 1,677 yards and 17 touchdowns in his career. His big season came in ’95, when he hauled in 64 receptions for 1,411 yards and 17 touchdowns.

That year, he was an All-B1G selection and consensus All-American. He was also presented with the Biletnikoff Award, handed to the best receiver in college football.

Glenn was taken in the first-round of the 1996 NFL Draft, selected seventh overall by the New England Patriots. He also had stops in Green Bay and Dallas throughout his career. He accounted for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns in his 11 year career.
