Former Ohio State star defensive back Denzel Ward is returning to the lineup for the Browns as they get set to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs in the AFC Divisional round.

Both Ward and fellow defensive back Kevin Johnson missed the past two weeks, including the Wild Card victory vs. the Steelers. Ward has been out because of COVID-19.

Ward was selected by the Browns with the fourth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Ward was selected to the Pro Bowl during a rookie season in which he amassed three interceptions, 53 tackles, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.

At Ohio State, Ward was a consensus All-American in 2017 when he totaled 37 tackles and two interceptions.

Browns-Chiefs is set for Sunday at 2:05 p.m. CST and will be televised on CBS.
