Former Ohio State star Tyquan Lewis had a rough day recently. You might say it was almost as bad as the Buckeyes experienced during the road loss to Oregon.

Recently, Indianapolis Colt defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, a former Duck himself, showed up to a press conference with none other than the Oregon Duck himself. However, this was not the usual Oregon Duck.

“This specific Duck is a bad Duck. He’s a long-life Ohio State Buckeye fan,” said Buckner. “A lot of training and a lot of beating into him, he became Oregon’s biggest supporter.”

He eventually lifted up the head of the duck to show Lewis inside the body of the Duck. Needless to say, that’s an elite method for forcing a teammate to pay up on a bet!

Lewis was a star for the Buckeyes with 23.5 sacks and 38 TFL and was actually a member of the 2014 team that went on to win the CFP National Championship. Buckner starred for the Ducks from 2012-15 and finished with 18 sacks and 37 TFLs.

The two teammates actually faced off in the national championship game at the end of the 2014 season, a game that went in favor of the Buckeyes with a 42-20 final score. While Lewis still has the ring he can flex, Buckner had the last laugh for the (first) 2024 matchup between the two programs.
