Another former Ohio State wide receiver will be on an active NFL roster this weekend.

On Saturday morning, the New York Giants announced that former Buckeye Austin Mack has been activated for this weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. He had previously been on the practice squad.

This will mark the first game of Mack’s NFL career. The Giants and Rams are scheduled for a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff time on Sunday. New York is 0-3 while Los Angeles is 2-1.

Mack ended his Ohio State career in 2019, totaling 361 yards and three touchdowns on 27 receptions. The Buckeyes finished the year with a 13-1 record. The former Buckeye receiver was not selected in the 2020 NFL Draft and was signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent.

During his career at Ohio State, Mack totaled 1,050 receiving yards and six touchdown catches. He totaled at least 300 receiving yards in each of his final three seasons with the Buckeyes.
