With the 2020 NFL Draft just a day away, Joel Klatt has named the five defensive players he thinks are the most talented in this year’s class. Two of those names come from Ohio State.
Klatt revealed the five defensive players who he believes are the best available in the 2020 NFL Draft. It’s not surprising that the college football analyst has former Buckeyes Chase Young (DE) and Jeff Okudah (CB) mentioned on his list. Both players are projected to be top three selections on Thursday.
Young is the top overall defensive prospect, according to Klatt. The defensive end was labeled a “game wrecker” throughout the season, finishing with 16.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and a blocked kick. He was a Heisman finalist at the end of the 2019 season.
Okudah has been graded as the top cornerback available in the 2020 NFL Draft another an outstanding season with the Buckeyes. He totaled 35 tackles, nine pass break-ups and three interceptions in his final year in Columbus.
