Another freshman has shed his black stripe in Columbus.

Wednesday morning, Ohio State announced that freshman offensive lineman Ben Christman has done enough to remove the black stripe from his helmet. He can now officially call himself a Buckeye.

Christman is a 6-foot-6, 315-pound lineman out of Akron. He was a 4-star member of the Buckeyes’ 2021 recruiting class, ranking No. 124 nationally.
