After getting forced to punt on a quick three-and-out to start the game, Ohio State is on the board with the second drive of the game!

The start by the Buckeyes was not quite what fans were hoping for as the defense allowed Clemson to march down the field off the opening kick off. Trevor Lawrence made some clutch throws as the Tigers rolled for an easy opening score.

On their first possession, the Buckeyes found no traction with Justin Fields even fumbling on a short third-down run.

After forcing a punt on Clemson’s second drive, Ryan Day did not waste any time getting the offense in gear. It was a quick throw to Chris Olave that got the drive going before a check-down swing pass to running back Trey Sermon picked up a huge chunk of yardage.

After that big gainer, the Buckeyes wasted no time getting back to the line of scrimmage. The next call was a run to the left by Sermon with the running back streaking for the game-tying touchdown:

At 7-all, this looks like it will be competitive early on.
