Four-star 2017 defensive tackle announces commitment to Ohio State
After National Signing Day wrapped up, Ohio State had the highest-rated class of any B1G team, according to 247sports.
Less than a week later, the Buckeyes continued their bid to repeat in 2017.
Four-star defensive tackle Haskell Garrett announced on Tuesday that he’s verbally committed to Ohio State:

Garrett is the 78th-rated player overall and the fourth-rated defensive tackle in the 2017 class, according to 247sports. The 6-2, 280-pound prospect out of Las Vegas turned down West Coast powers like Oregon and USC, in addition to the likes of Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
Garrett’s commitment means the Buckeyes already have 11 hard commits in their 2017 class, 10 of which are at least four-star recruits. That’s more than any team in the country.
The Buckeyes currently boast the top-rated 2017 class in the 247sports composite rankings.
