Garrett Wilson provides immediate impact in return, scores game-opening TD vs. Purdue

Ohio State survived Week 10 with a win against Nebraska while playing without Garrett Wilson. However, the Buckeyes are very happy to have him back for Week 11, and that showed on the game’s opening drive.

Facing off against Purdue, Ohio State opened its first offensive possession with a pass to Wilson. That play went for 6 yards.

A few plays later, it was a nicely drawn play that left Wilson uncovered near the sideline. Quarterback C.J. Stroud hit him with the pass, and Wilson went streaking down the sideline, diving into the end zone at the end.

His touchdown went for 21 yards as he finished the game’s opening drive with 2 catches for 27 yards and the score:
