Garrett Wilson has put together an impressive start to his NFL career, as he is only 13 yards away from getting 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first 3 NFL season. Generally, when a wide receiver gets off to that kind of start, teams try and find a way to make sure that player is a big part of their future.

However, the New York Jets aren’t most teams, and NFL insider Ian Rapoport thinks there is a chance that the former Ohio State star is playing on a different team in 2025.

During the week, Wilson voiced some displeasure about his role in the offense, despite having 90 catches entering Week 17. A lot of the issues, according to Rapoport is a strained relationship with Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers got the Jets to bring in All-pro wide receiver Davante Adams, which basically moved Wilson to the second option. The NFL Network analyst said that there is a chance that if Rodgers is back in New York next season, that Wilson could request a trade.

If he were to hit the trade market, there figures to be a ton of teams interested in a 24-year-old wide receiver with the success he has already had.
