Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields had quite the first half in the Sugar Bowl against Clemson.

He’s been just about perfect with four touchdown passes as Ohio State is up three touchdowns going into the second half.

Before the Buckeyes tied the game at 14, Fields connected with receiver Garrett Wilson on a 47-yard deep pass which got them right back into the game:

Shortly after that play, Fields was able to find tight end Luke Farrell for a touchdown despite some tight coverage:

Fields was then responsible for the next three touchdowns, the first of which was a great pass after rolling out to his left before finding Jeremy Ruckert for the score:

After this touchdown, the fun continued as Fields rolled out to his right and found Chris Olave for a score:

The torture against Clemson’s defense would continue into the waning seconds of the first half when Jeremy Ruckert got his second touchdown catch of the game from Fields.

Fields would finish the half with 223 yards passing while completing 16 of his 18 passes. He also had seven carries for 50 yards.
