Taylor Decker, Ezekiel Elliott answer Kirk Herbstreit's criticism
Kirk Herbstreit was quick to call out Ohio State during the offensive struggles in the first half on Saturday.
The Buckeyes only had seven points against Illinois and Ezekiel Elliott only had 35 yards. Herbstreit, as he often does, voiced his displeasure on Twitter.
Is it my imagination or did Ohio a State return 4 OL from a National Championship team?!? Wouldn't have any idea watching them block.

Ohio State center Taylor Decker didn’t like that very much. He had a leg to stand on after Ezekiel Elliott ripped off his 15th straight 100-yard game en route to a Buckeye victory.
Here’s what Decker said after the game in regards to Herbstreit’s comments.

Decker does have a point. But in Herbstreit’s defense, he might’ve been referencing the pass protection, which wasn’t great early.
But Elliott finished the game with 181 yards and two touchdowns. He didn’t like Herbstreit calling out “The Slobs” either.
@KirkHerbstreit come on thought you were a Buckeye #SlobsForHeisman

You can bet Herbstreit made himself an enemy or two in Columbus.
