After a convincing home victory against Rutgers, No. 3 Ohio State was ready to turn its attention to upstart Maryland.

Unfortunately, due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Maryland, Saturday’s game has been cancelled. Ohio State coach Ryan Day touched on the situation during his weekly radio show.

Day said Ohio State is making the most of the situation and will continue to stay active.

Day was disappointed by the cancellation after the momentum Ohio State was carrying.

While Ohio State intends to be proactive with this additional time, Day did express some concerns.

Once Ohio State received word that Maryland couldn’t play, they immediately shifted their focus to fellow undefeated Indiana.

Day was complimentary of No. 10 Indiana’s offense, anchored by Manning Award QB of the Week Michael Penix Jr.

Ohio State leads the all-time series 76-12-5 and hasn’t lost to Indiana since 1988. The top-1o showdown is slated for Nov. 21 at Ohio State (11 a.m. CST/FOX).
