Ryan Day spoke on Thursday during his weekly radio show, the Ohio State head coach addressing a number of topics around his team.

Among them was the cancellation of Ohio State’s regular season finale against Michigan. At 5-0 and ranked fourth in the most recent AP Top 25 Poll, Ohio State is trending towards an appearance in the College Football Playoff.

A win against Northwestern in the upcoming Big Ten Championship Game and Ohio State likely qualifies for the four-team playoff.

But there were other things for Day to talk about besides the loss of the Michigan game. He also discussed Trey Sermon, Justin Fields and how the Buckeyes will watch Northwestern-Illinois on Saturday.
