The forecast for Champaign on Saturday is for sunny skies and a November-mild 49 degrees
But when Ohio State comes to town they’re looking to keep things “ice-cold” with an all-white uniform combination.
The Buckeyes are coming off a less than spectacular showing during their 42-35 win over Indiana last week. OSU quarterback Justin Fields was intercepted three times by the Hoosiers defense, and after building a 28-7 halftime lead only to allow Indiana back into the game with a less-than-stellar second half on defense.
While the Illini are definitely out-manned by the No. 3 Buckeyes, but are coming off back-to-back wins courtesy of Rutgers and Nebraska. The win over the Huskers was the first by Illinois over Nebraska in Lincoln since 1924.
The Buckeyes alternate uniforms are the first they have worn this season..
Ohio State and Illinois kick off at noon ET on Saturday.
