“First off I would like to thank god for giving me the gift of my football ability, but I also want to thank my family, all the coaches who believe in me in this process, and my trainers who pushed me to work hard everyday, lastly I would like to thank Pickerington Central for them letting me be apart of the school,” Hamilton wrote. “That being said I HAVE COMMITTED TO THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY.”
A 6-foot-3, 250-pound strong-side defensive end, Hamilton is ranked as one of the top 50 players at his position in the 2020 class. He’s listed as the No. 31 overall player out of the state of Ohio, as well.
Hamilton had 20 offers during the recruiting cycle but ultimately settled on the hometown Buckeyes. He chose Ohio State over Michigan, Penn State, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, Rutgers and Minnesota out of the B1G.
Ohio State now has 12 members in its 2020 recruiting class. The Buckeyes rank No. 1 in the B1G and are sitting in the top 10 nationally with their class.
