Fortunately, Fields and Olave have not had any such drawback in this year’s game against Clemson. In fact, the two have connected for some big-time plays with Fields dropping in a beautiful pass for Ohio State’s latest touchdown.

It came with Olave running nothing other than a deep post pattern down the middle of the field. He was able to get all the way behind Clemson’s secondary, a unit that appeared to seriously underestimate the arm strength of Fields.

Fields dropped a throw in with pinpoint accuracy for the touchdown, made even more impressive by the fact that the ball traveled 60 yards in the air.

After an interception to start the second half, Fields’ latest touchdown gave Ohio State a 42-21 lead.
