Two Ohio State players might’ve gone to the Heisman Trophy ceremony, but perhaps the one guy who deserved it most was left off the invitation list. Running back J.K. Dobbins is playing with a vengeance on Saturday night.

Dobbins rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on nine carries through the first two quarters against Clemson. He was a huge reason why the Buckeyes owned a 16-14 lead on the Tigers at halftime.

With a few big runs in the first 30 minutes, Dobbins passed Eddie George’s single-season rushing record at Ohio State.

Dobbins did drop a touchdown pass in the first half that would’ve given the Buckeyes a bigger first half lead, but he was still outstanding on the biggest stage of the season.

Dobbins finished the regular season with 1,829 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground, helping lead the Buckeyes to a 13-0 record. While many believe the OSU running back should’ve received an Heisman Trophy ceremony invitation, the invites were handed to his teammates Justin Fields and Chase Young.
