Ohio State may have won its third-straight B1G title on Saturday night, but the goals for the 2019 Buckeyes are much higher than winning a conference championship. That’s probably why running back J.K. Dobbins is so eager to get back to work.

Following Ohio State’s 34-21 win over Wisconsin on Saturday night in Indianapolis, Dobbins met with a reporter to talk about the Buckeyes’ big win. While the conversation started out about the win over the Badgers, it quickly shifted to bigger things.

After a bit of a lackluster first half performance, Dobbins is ready and eager to get back to Columbus and fix some of the errors the Buckeyes committed through those first 30 minutes before heading off to the College Football Playoff.

“We’re gonna get back to Ohio, fix everything that we did not do today and we’ll be ready,” Dobbins said after the game.

Dobbins finished Saturday’s game with 172 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries for the Buckeyes. He was the B1G’s second-leading rusher through the regular season.

Ohio State fell behind early 14-0 and trailed 21-7 at the end of the half, struggling to get much going on either side of the football. All that changed in the second half, as the Buckeyes outscored the Badgers 27-0 in the final 30 minutes.

The Buckeyes faced some serious adversity this week, but answered the call. Now they’ll need to correct some of those woes before taking on either Clemson or Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff in a few weeks.
