The accolades continue to roll in for Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett
After a stellar performance last Saturday against Penn State, Barrett was named the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week. The Buckeyes gunslinger led the scarlet and gray past the second-ranked Nittany Lions in a 39-38 come-from-behind victory.
The announcement was made on Tuesday morning. It’s the second time in three weeks Barrett has been named the Quarterback of the Week.

Barrett’s stat line was nothing short of incredible from Saturday. He completed 33-of-39 for 328 yards and four touchdowns, including the game-winning strike to Marcus Baugh in the final two minutes of the game.
He also rushed for 95 yards in the contest.
Barrett was also named the Davey O’Brien Quarterback of the Week following his Oct. 14 performance against Nebraska. He completed 27-of-33 passes for 325 yards and five passing touchdowns, while also rushing for two more scores.
On Monday, Barrett was named the B1G Offensive Player of the Week.
