Jacksonville Jaguars LB compares Urban Meyer, Doug Pederson

Jacksonville Jaguars LB Josh Allen spoke at the podium in a recent interview. He laughed when he was asked to compare he his former HC Urban Meyer to Doug Pederson per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.

If you kept up with the NFL last season, or even if you didn’t, you probably know how Meyer’s stint in Jacksonville went. Meyer was fired after 1 season with the organization. He went 2-11 in his 1st year, but also had some off the field issues that didn’t do him a lot of favors on top of that. Allen’s comparison of the 2 head coaches is almost night and day.

“It’s a professional locker room,” said Allen. “It’s a professional setting. He’s talking to us like grown men.”

Pederson’s last few years with the Philadelphia Eagles were disappointing compared to his Super Bowl run. You can’t win games just based on your locker room culture, but it’s a start.
