Jaxon Smith-Njigba played hero ball Monday night for the Seattle Seahawks, lifting Seattle over the Philidelphia Eagles with a game-winning touchdown reception.

It wasn’t a typical reception, either. Smith-Njigba’s touchdown looked eerily similar to his score in the Rose Bowl 2 years ago, with outstretched hands slightly over-the-shoulder.

Check it out below. Seattle went on to win, 20-17:

Smith-Njigba, to the surprise of pretty much no one, has had a stellar rookie season with Seattle after several strong seasons at Ohio State. The former Buckeye currently sits at 53 receptions for 583 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s had at least 1 reception in every game he has played this season.

Across 3 seasons at Ohio State Smith-Njigba totaled 110 receptions for 1,698 yards and 10 touchdowns. He played in just 23 games during those 3 years partly due to injury in 2022.
