Jayden Jackson is almost ready to make his college commitment.
The 4-star defensive lineman will announce his decision on July 13. He shared that news on Friday evening. He also named his top 5 finalists: Miami, Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Texas.

Jackson is an elite prospect. He’s the No. 433 overall player and the No. 45 defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 65 player from the state of Florida.
He attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. However, he’s originally from Brownsburg, Indiana. Jackson is listed at 6-foot-2, 300 pounds.
Jackson took an official visit to Columbus last month. He also visited his other 4 finalists. He originally received an offer from Ohio State in January of this year.
Ohio State has one of the top classes in the country so far in 2024. The Buckeyes own the nation’s No. 2-ranked class, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
