Jeff Okudah, former OSU DB, receives status update for Thanksgiving Day game with Detroit Lions
Jeff Okudah is having a solid season with the Detroit Lions. Unfortunately, Okudah sustained a concussion in Sunday’s win over the New York Giants.
After the game, head coach Dan Campbell was asked about Okudah’s status for Thanksgiving Day, a short turnaround for the Lions to try and get the cornerback on the field. Campbell admitted he doesn’t “think there’s any way possible” for Okudah to clear concussion protocols in order to play vs. the Buffalo Bills.

Fortunately, Okudah did take to social media after the game to let fans know he is doing okay. Hopefully, that means it will be a one-game absence for the Buckeye product.
I’m Good.
