The first career NFL interception for former Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah came in impressive fashion on Sunday afternoon.

Detroit traveled to Arizona for a Week 3 matchup on Sunday and the Lions were able to get their first win of the season, a 26-23 victory over the Cardinals. Okudah was a big part of that victory, making a critical play in the middle of the third quarter.

Okudah made a diving play to intercept a pass off Kyler Murray, then returned it 36 yards. Detroit was then able to put three points on the board, increasing its lead to 20-16 in the second half.

Below is the play made by Okudah:

Okudah finished the game with 6 tackles, two for loss and the interception. Detroit improved to 1-2 on the season with the road victory.

In his rookie season, Okudah has played in two games through three weeks, totaling 13 tackles. He was the No. 3 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.
