Jeremiah Smith will visit Miami this weekend, he announced on Monday.
Smith, a Florida native, will visit the Canes as they debut their “Miami nights” uniforms this week vs. Georgia Tech.

Smith has been committed to Ohio State since last December. However, Miami and Florida State — amongst other programs — have continued to recruit Smith.
Those ACC programs do have a proximity advantage over the Buckeyes. Smith attends Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Opa Locka, Florida. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 198 pounds.
Smith is the No. 1 overall prospect in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Smith has already taken visits to Florida and Florida State this fall. He also made another trip to Columbus last month.
Ohio State currently has 22 commits in the class of 2024. The group sits at No. 2 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
