Jeremiah Smith, 5-star Ohio State commit, posts ridiculous numbers in high school game
Jeremiah Smith is off to a remarkable start in his high school game on Friday night.
According to 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins, Smith caught 9 passes for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns — all in the 1st half.

Smith is one of the top high school prospects in the country, regardless of position. He’s the No. 2 overall player and the No. 1 receiver in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
He attends Chaminade-Madonna Prep and is from Opa Locka, Fla. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 198 pounds.
Smith has been committed to Ohio State since December of 2022. However, programs like Florida State and Miami have continued to recruit Smith over the past year.
Smith is the highest-ranked prospect in Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class. So far, the Buckeyes have picked up commitments from 22 players in this cycle. The group sits at No. 2 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
