Jeremiah Smith heads to Ohio State as the No. 1 recruit. The Buckeye signee can now point to more than his recruiting ranking as evidence he is the top player in the Class of 2024.

Smith earned All-American status for a sensational senior season. He led Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida to a 14-0 season and state title, recording 88 receptions for 1,376 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Smith, the top prospect for the 2024 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite, committed to OSU in December 2022. He remained pledged to the Buckeyes while allowing Florida, Florida State and Miami to continue to recruit him. There was Early Signing Day drama, but Smith is set to begin his college football career in Columbus.
Buckeyes fans can get a preview of what Smith brings to the Buckeyes by watching him in Saturday’s All-American Bowl, airing on NBC.
