To begin his college career, Smith revealed he is committing to Ryan Day’s Ohio State program:

Smith’s commitment gives Brian Hartline yet another major win on the recruiting trail and another 5-star prospect to work with in Columbus. It is also a notable win for Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class.

Along with a commitment from No. 1 QB prospect Dylan Raiola, Ohio State already holds pledges from the top two players in the country for the cycle. That is quite the start to the 2024 cycle for the Buckeyes.
