Jeremiah Smith has had an incredible start to his collegiate career.

The true freshman wide receiver is already a key piece of the Ohio State offense. Smith has scored a touchdown in every game of the year so far, and that trend continued in Week 5.

In the 2nd quarter, Smith received a pitch and took it to the house for a 19-yard score.

That play ensured that the freshman would continue his scoring streak. However, Smith wasn’t done with the scoring just yet.

Late in the 2nd quarter, Smith made an insane one-handed grab for a 27-yard completion.

While the one-handed catch was impressive enough, it’s made even better by the fact that Smith had 2 Michigan State defenders draped on him.

The one-handed theatrics weren’t done for Smith, though.

Just 4 plays later, Smith made another insane grab, this time for a 17-yard score. Smith got just enough separation from the corner and reached out his right hand to snag the ball and scamper into the end zone for his 2nd score of the night.

That’s 2 highlight-reel catches on 1 drive for the star freshman.

This Week 5 contest will already be the 2nd multi-TD game for Smith in his young career. At the half, the Buckeyes have a commanding 24-7 lead over the Spartans.
