Attention Ohio residents! Looking to bet on college football this offseason? Here’s Saturday Tradition’s list of Ohio sports betting promos to help you find the best offers on the market!
Smith was crucial in Ohio State’s National Championship run this month. He punctuated one of the best freshman seasons of all time with 88 yards in the title game — including a 56-yard catch that essentially secured the win for the Buckeyes with under 2 minutes to go in the game.
Smith ended the year with 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was one of the very best players in the country in 2024, regardless of class.
With 2 years remaining before he can enter the NFL Draft, Smith will seemingly be paid like a first-round pick at the collegiate level. Attorney Darren Heitner points out that Smith is in line to make more money in 2025 than former first-round pick Jaxon Smith-Njigba will in Seattle next season:
As a data point, Jaxon Smith-Njigba went to Ohio State and was drafted in the 1st round in 2023. He signed a slotted 4-year deal with an average annual salary of $3.6 million. Jeremiah Smith has an offer to stay in college and make more money than Smith-Njigba this coming season. https://t.co/WDDhdPXTVz
