Buckeyes defensive lineman Jerron Cage has gotten a distinct honor after his performance against Penn State last Saturday.

Cage has been named the “Buck of the Week”, which goes to the player who had the best performance on the team for that game. He recovered a fumble from Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford and returned it to the house to extend OSU’s lead to double digits in the 1st half.

Cage was asked in a video interview on OSU’s Twitter account what he remembered about that play and it seems like it was the electric crowd.

“The only thing I remember is the crowd. I’m running so hard and all I was hearing was this ‘ahhhhhh.’ I was tired man.”

So far this season, Cage has 7 total tackles (3 solo) with 1 sack and that fumble recovery for a touchdown. We’ll see if he has more magic up his sleeve when OSU takes on Nebraska this Saturday at Noon ET.
