Seven weeks and one enormous 39-38 win over Penn State later, Ohio State’s Week 2 loss to Oklahoma seems to be losing any sense of significance. The Buckeyes control their own destiny in the B1G race and are right back in the College Football Playoff picture.

Ohio State has impressed the country since that 31-15 defeat at the hands of the Sooners, blowing out its next five opponents and storming back from an 18-point deficit to knock off No. 2 Penn State on Saturday. But there’s one college football analyst who’s especially high on the Buckeyes at this point.

Palmer, who works for ESPN, even believes that Ohio State would beat Oklahoma “by 20” in a rematch game.

“Ohio State is just that much better,” Palmer said.

The Buckeyes have been on an incredible hot streak lately, winning six-straight games, most of which by at least 30 points. They validated all the hype after defeating an extremely talented Penn State team last weekend. Now, it looks like the B1G is Ohio State’s to lose.

A few challenges still remain on the schedule, as bouts with Iowa, Michigan State and Michigan are still ahead. But if Ohio State plays as it did against the Nittany Lions, it’s going to be tough to beat.

This week, Ohio State travels to Iowa City to battle the Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium.
