Jim Knowles had some high praise for Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Knowles called Harrison “the best I’ve ever been around.” It’s high praise from Knowles, who has been a head coach and defensive coordinator since 2004. Prior to his coaching career, Knowles played DE for Cornell in the 1980s.

Knowles offered up some advice for those teams looking to keep Harrison down on the field. “You have to double him. You have to change it up because if he knows what you’re doing and C.J. (Stroud) knows what you’re doing, they’re gonna make plays.”

Making plays is something Harrison knows all about. With two games remaining in the regular season, Harrison has amassed 969 yards and 11 TDs. Harrison joined Joey Galloway in the history books earlier this season as only the second OSU player in history with more than one 3-touchdown game.
