Jim Knowles shares latest availability for Tommy Eichenberg
Jim Knowles recently shared the latest availability update for Ohio State senior linebacker Tommy Eichenberg.
During a recent press conference, the defensive coordinator said that Eichenberg is determined to play this weekend vs. Michigan State but the athletic training staff will make the call on whether he’s good to go.
Eichenberg went to the locker room late during Ohio State’s 35-16 victory at Rutgers and missed the defense’s final series. Ice was wrapped around Eichenberg’s arm after the game according to On3.
Jim Knowles said he knows Tommy Eichenberg will want to play this week, but that the athletic training staff will ultimately make the decision on whether he’s healthy enough to play. Said Tommy would “play with one arm” if he had to.
