Dobbins has been on and off the injury list all season, but was really starting to turn a corner since returning in Week 14. Still, this is likely a precaution move by the Ravens.
Ravens’ standout JK Dobbins will not play today vs. the Bengals and instead will begin focusing on next weekend’s wild-card game, per league source.
Since returning in Week 14, Dobbins leads all NFL running backs in rushing yards and yards per carry.

In all likelihood, Baltimore will be facing off against the Bengals in the Wild Card round after their upcoming Week 17 game. The Ravens are currently in a battle with the Chargers for the 5-seed, but Los Angeles wins that honor if they can down lowly Denver, which sits at 4-12 on the season.
That would leave Baltimore with the 6-seed against either Cincinnati or Buffalo. The Bills win the 2-seed by beating New England or with a Baltimore win over Cincinnati. If either of those happen and the Chargers take care of business against Denver, the Ravens and Bengals will flip a coin for home field advantage (and the division title) in the 3 vs. 6 matchup.
It should be an exciting Week 17, that’s for sure!
